About Us

   Our principal, Greg Sweigert, has been selling CNC chip and fabricating equipment, and managing after-sales machine tool organizations for over thirty three years. Prior to that, he spent 7 years at Kunkle Valve Company in Fort Wayne, IN, running NC & CNC lathes. While working in the shop he earned his bachelor’s degree from IUPU-Fort Wayne in 1981. He began his career in machine tools selling in Indiana then on the Pacific Northwest as a principal in the company Machine Tool Sales, Auburn, WA. He worked for a large Japanese trading company and then owned his own distributorship. In the 1990’s he joined a Finnish company selling turret presses and metal punching and shearing equipment. Midway through his eight years with Finn Power International, he was brought to Chicago to do an After Sales turnaround and to become their North American Customer Service Manager. With FPI, he was a member of the senior management team, with over 45 direct reports in applications, service, parts, and after sales. He spent five years Foremost Machinery Company as General Manager bringing in Asian and Turkish CNC fabrication lines. M & E Values still supports for the CNC equipment that had sold still providing service and parts. Since his first job in high school running a GROB vertical bandsaw for a plastics fabricator, Greg has been involved in the manufacturing business as an importer, distributor, and field service provider of both CNC chip and fab machine tool and services.

   M & E Values Inc., was incorporated in 2002, in Mount Prospect, IL. Last year, George, Greg’s brother, joined the team and was active as Western Region Sales Manager and worked Fabtech. Now, George has also brought his talent and knowledge from the West Coast to work in Chicago as Vice-President of Sales.

   Our service is managed by, Rusty Bemis, of Belle Plain, MN. He’s been Greg’s lead engineer joining Finn Power, and developing the robotic handling of material for press brakes. He followed Greg to FMC has installed every one of our line of M&E/JFY CNC bus bar punching machines over the past eight years. He now support the installs and service of: the DALCOS coil punching, CMA longbed auto drilling machines, INSPECVISION 2D inspection equipment, the TECOi plate cutting, Muller Opladen pipe cutting & welding machine tools, and Eidal shredders. He also has over thirty years of CNC fabrication equipment repair experience, both in company maintenance departments and owning his own business as an independent service contractor.

   M & E Values, Inc. specializes in both new and used drilling, inspecting, shredding, punching, cutting, welding, and forming equipment for the fabrication and metals industry. Our goal is to provide our customers with reliable, well-engineered equipment concentrating of the needs of the U.S & Canadian customers. Simply, we want our customer “Get More Done,” with our equipment and support.

   Greg has invested his time in pro-manufacturing political agenda and affiliations in Illinois. He’s has been a member of the Government Relations Subcommittee of the Technology and Manufacturing Aligned (TMA) for over eight years. This Chicagoland association includes 987 contract manufacturers; many are smaller family-owned tool and die shops and businesses that make plastic injection molds. He also has worked on 6B property tax relief, for Cook County industrial properties, and an exporting initiative for Illinois manufacturers with World Business Chicago.
